We found an ad on Craigslist for a young chocolate lab. We realized quickly that disreputable people were inquiring about him and we decided to go check him out. He was a cute very active crazy little nut job that was actually akc registered purebred. They were getting rid of him because they wanted a dog that would dock jump. We brought him home and he became our chocolate Lab benellis shadow watching everything he did but wouldn’t get in the water and wouldn’t play fetch. We had Benelli, another chocolate lab already. He showed Hunter the ropes. He passed unexpectedly after a fatty tumor removal surgery from a hidden hemorrhage at the age of 7. The crazy part is after Benelli passed Hunter started swimming, fetching and DOCK JUMPING! The very thing his previous family dumped him for. He has become the most wonderful dog. He is a therapy dog for dogs literally. Best dog ever!!!!
